Mirjam Madhuri Paninski is an EFT master and trainer, meditation teacher, healer, writer and researcher. She is the founder and CEO of Open Consciousness Institute and serves as Consciousness Programs director and trainer at EFT Universe. Mirjam has worked with hundreds of clients and students, helping them liberate from ancestral and generational trauma into higher consciousness of an embodied spirituality. She is completing her book project and doctoral research on perinatal trauma and narratives around pregnancy and birth with a particular focus on BIWOC, their communities, and narratives of slavery that are still deeply ingrained in the medical apparatus in the United States at Brown University. The combination of mindfulness practices and therapeutic somatic techniques, working with complex and generational trauma, high levels of anxiety, and habitual patterns, has deeply informed her research. She grew up meditating in ashrams and meditation centers around the world. Mirjam has been faculty at various institutes, including the Omega Institute and CIIS, and multiple universities, including Brown University, Smith College, and the University of Vienna.
